In my work at Birch Aquarium, I am asked to do many print projects to promote all various offerings to help drive attendance. Here is a sampling of my work, from holiday cards, to penguin promotions to a robust special events brochure and catering guide.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS PARK DISTRICT: Seasonal Brochures
This right here is the largest resource ANY park district has; it generates a majority of the revenue for the district. As Arlington Heights Park District is one of the largest park districts in the state of Illinois (52 parks, 3 golf facilities, 2 tennis clubs, 6 community pools/waterparks and a museum), my job is to make the catalog easy to read, fun and friendly.
Every year, the Arlington Heights Park District redesigns it's program guide series to a new theme. Below are my 3 most recent series.
Every April, I design two full cover series concepts and present to the directors of the AHPD.
Some years, I am able to use the second concept as the following years theme.
I've been designing catalogs for close to 10 years, it's something at this point I can do in my sleep. I'd like to think I am a page layout ninja, but I speak, style sheets, nesting and love love LOVE figuring out a new way to do something.
"PLAN TO PLAY EVERY DAY"
Each book is door to door delivered to our residents (36,000 households) - a process I coordinate from start to finish.
Fun fact: This series also culminated with our 90th anniversary. Each cover design as a "90" hidden within it... some easier to find than others.
