Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Birch Aquarium has such beautiful animals in their care, I took boring outdated plain white business cards and flipped them on its tail. Featuring some of our most stunning animals, staff members can pick and choose which back they give to their vendor. In addition to the back design, the staff have a choice of 6 custom illustrations for the front. A little personality, a little fun, a little pizzaz!

Arlington Heights Park District

Ordering business cards for 75+ staff across multiple facilities was cumbersome. With a recent stream of new employees and promotions came an even bigger challenge. The proofing process was manual and tedious, relying on paper proofs, which increased errors and costs when ordering less than the ‘minimum’ from our traditional printer.

In 2015 we transitioned to an online platform making ordering business cards effortless. We chose a 100% recyclable paper, recycled from post-consumer waste, Green Seal certified, and in compliance with the American National Standards institute.

RESULTS

A cost-effective, “marketing” card system that helps our staff stand out in a crowd. Now, staff easily initiate, electronically proof cards then order personalized ‘decks’ of two-sided cards from their work stations. Staff select from approved designs featuring photos, brand attributes and inspirational quotes.

Each quote was sourced from speakers or celebrities that relate to our industry and/or represent the Arlington Heights Park District brand attributes. "Fun, Friendly, Innovative and Playful."
